Forcing myself out of my comfort zone again and sharing a recent article about my leather work. Click here to read. From page 48 At first I planned to share this on my news page of my website only. Even though I am fully aware that more people look at my blog page. Introvert, remember! Hiding is my automatic go to! Taking some of my own advice I recently gave to a student. "The pursuit of perfection can get in your way! No one will know what you do if you do not show what you do!" I was recently interviewed by Teddy Hayes for World Equal magazine discussing my work as a leather artist. The article came out last week and I hesitated to share it. Why? Being discribed as an artist in an article. Last year when I met Teddy he asked if I was an artist and I hesitated to answer the question. He seemed to recognise my response and said if you are hesitating that means yes! Que lots of overthinking and discussions with the people who know me well and I let them see more of my creative work than most. I still have moments that I hesitant to describe myself as an artist. The tide is turning however, recently I have realised my focus on being creative means that description works well for me.
