Deco 22 is a craft-based label producing leather and fashion accessories focusing mainly on leather products. The designer maker for this label is Jasmine Carey.
All Deco 22 pieces are handcrafted by Jasmine in her studio based in Deptford, Southeast London. A wide range of techniques are used including traditional leather craft, such as saddle stitching and burnishing edges.
Jasmine has a background of five years formal fashion and technical training, and over twenty years’ experience pattern cutting for numerous companies. She is also a qualified lecturer and currently teaches pattern cutting at a London University.

Craft Expertise-"Makers Stories" Podcast- Oct 2019
Craft Expertise’ is a 2-year Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) funded project in collaboration with Crafts Council UK, which is exploring and seeking to address inequalities in the craft sector. The research is focusing on the career journeys and experiences for Women of Colour within the craft sector
The project is led by Dr Karen Patel, from Birmingham City University.
