I should have anticipated as much (it’s a free show). Luckily I had a book (and a small live band playing music outside?!) to keep me company :-).
The exhibit covers 3 floors, with installations of Coco Chanel’s work, inspiration and working environment. There was no physical programme, I had to view information via an app - (Yes Thea Smartt Henry I used an app solo …well.. I did get a bit of help from another visitor). A word of warning for those using an Android device, you may have to keep re-opening the app, mine crashed and force-closed several times.
There was also a room with lots of fabric hanging from the wall that you could touch, play with and investigate to see exactly how they draped it.. well, I did anyway :-).
It was a lovely exhibition and I’m glad I visited. Definitely take your time to view everything on all three floors. The show has a short run, closing on November 1st.
